Breast Lift Techniques at Our Tijuana Practice

A breast lift procedure is designed for women who have lost the natural elasticity of their breasts, causing them to hang or sag. Most women experience this due to aging, weight loss or gain, or pregnancy. The Procedure

Breast lift surgery, performed by Dr. Bucio at his Tijuana clinic, can last between two and four hours. During this time, Dr. Bucio will make an anchor-shaped incision following the natural contour of the breast. Excess tissue and skin will be trimmed away, and the bust line will be tightened and lifted to reshape the breast. Dr. Bucio will then reposition the remaining tissue and the nipple to ensure the most natural-looking results.

After the Breast Lift Procedure

After a breast lift procedure, temporary side effects include numbness, swelling, bruising and discomfort, but each of these should subside within the first week. However, healing after a breast lift procedure is a gradual process, and it is recommended that you avoid work, heavy lifting and straining for the first few weeks after surgery.
